
The couple's son Robert O'Connor (31) has been charged with three counts of murder and was further remanded in custody at Drogheda District Court yesterday, which was told the accused is due to undergo an independent psychiatric assessment tomorrow.
The funeral mass of the three people found dead at their home in County Louth eight days ago, will take place in Dundalk later this morning.
The bodies of Louise and Mark O'Connor, aged 56 and 54, and their 27 year old son Evan were discovered in Drumgowna, Louth on Monday of last week.
The mass will be celebrated in Saint Patrick’s Church at 11 o'clock by Parish Priest Father Gerry Campbell of the Pastoral Area of the four parishes of Darver & Dromiskin, Kilkerley, Knockbridge and Louth.
Concelebrants will include Father Mark O'Hagan, Parish Priest and Father Stephen Wilson, Curate of Saint Patrick's Church, Dundalk; Father Sijo John, Curate of Louth Parish and Father Pat McEnroe Pastor Emeritus, Assistant Priest for Darver & Dromiskin.
